Logistics:
Boats gather on the Neuse River off of Oriental, NC, generally north east of SC1. We will run two events. The Pursuit Race, intended for Cruising Boats, will be around government marks with a pursuit start. The Spinnaker Around the Buoys Race, intended for competitive spinnaker boats, will be around the buoys with the traditional 5 minute start.

Registration:
Please let us know who is coming by signing up here. Registration is strongly encouraged so we can assign start times.
Cruising Pursuit Race
One pursuit start race for cruising boats will be sailed around the government marks, Garbacon Shoal, "7", Adams Creek "AC1" and Oriental One "SC1". Finish is back around SC1 bearing 090. Time offsets will be announced at the Skipper's meeting (see below) and over channel 78A. All boats should check in with the race committee boat. The first start will be at 12:30. The start sequence will only be run for the first boat, with the warning signal at 12:25.
Skipper's Meeting:
There will be a Skipper's meeting at 0900 at SailCraft Marina's Sailing School office at 09:00 to review the race logistics and hand out Pursuit start off-set times.
Spinnaker Around the Buoys Race
We will run up to 4 races for spinnaker class around a course marked with ODC inflatable marks. All boats should check in with the race committee boat. The start of the first race is at 13:00 with the warning signal at 12:55.
