  Logistics:

  Spinnaker and Jib and Main (JAM) boats gather on the Neuse River off of Oriental, NC, generally north east of mark SC1.    The course will be marked with ODC inflatable marks. Spinnaker and JAM fleets will have separate starts.

  All boats should check-in with the race committee boat.   

  The first warning signal will be at 13:00 for the Spinnaker fleet, with the JAM fleet starting shortly there-after.  JAM fleet should stay clear of the starting line until after the Spinnaker fleet start.
  

  We will run up to 4 races each day of racing.

  Dinghy launching will be at Bow to Stern at 290 Blackwell Point Loop Rd, Oriental, NC 28571.  Trailered boats can be launched at the wild life ramp at  301 Midyette St, Oriental, NC 28571.  Changing facilities and limited charter boats are also available at BtS.  

  The first warning signal will be at 13:30. We will have starts for one design boats if 3 or more are present.  All others will sail in the open class.

  Logistics:

  Cruising and Spinnaker boats gather on the Neuse River off of Oriental, NC, generally north east of mark SC1, and will sail different race courses.  The cruising course will be around government marks (details below) with a pursuit start, and the spinnaker course will be around the buoys with traditional start.  The full race schedule and race documents can be found at  www.orientaldinghyclub.com under "Racing".

  Cruising Class - Pursuit Start

  One pursuit start race will be sailed around the government marks, Garbacon Shoal, "7", Adams Creen "AC1" and Oriental One "SC1" depending on wind direction. Time offsets will be announced over channel 78A.  The first start will be at 12:30 PM.
  
  Registration is strongly encouraged so we can assign start times.  Contact odc.race@gmail for questions.

  There will be  a skippers meeting at SailCraft Marina’s Sailing School office at 9:00 to review the race logistics and hand out start off set times.

  Spinnaker Class

  The course will be marked with ODC inflatable marks.  The first warning signal will be at 13:00 and will sail up to 4 races.
